QTX Rechargeable LED Derby & Par Light Set With Tripod - RGBW

The QTX rechargeable LED Derby and Par light set combines two RGBW PAR lights and two LED Derby effects on a single T-bar powered by an integrated 12V 7200mAh lithium battery. The battery provides up to 6 hours of continuous operation without mains power, allowing the system to run at outdoor events, marquees, and venues where access to sockets is restricted or unavailable.

Designed for mobile DJs, small-scale events and weddings, the system mounts on a supplied 2.3m telescopic tripod stand that extends from 1.8m to 2.3m. Each of the four light units is angle-adjustable on the bar, allowing PAR washes and Derby beam effects to be directed across different areas of the room. Control is via DMX (3, 6 or 15 channel modes), infrared remote, or internal auto and sound-activated programs selectable from the rear control panel.

The T-bar effects unit weighs 3.7kg and measures 740mm wide, while the collapsed tripod weighs 1.3kg and packs down to 900mm length. Both components fit into the included carry bags, making the system portable for regular transport between venues. The IEC mains lead charges the battery and can also power the unit during longer events where mains is available.

The RGBW LED configuration in the PAR units adds a white LED channel alongside the standard red, green and blue, enabling warmer white tones and pastel colour mixes that standard RGB cannot produce. The Derby units project multi-beam rotating effects across walls and ceilings. The combination of static colour washes from the PARs and moving Derby beams creates layered lighting effects without needing separate fixtures.

How long does the battery run for?

The integrated 12V 7200mAh lithium battery provides up to 6 hours of runtime depending on the program and brightness settings. Higher-output static modes and full DMX control may reduce this. The unit can also run on mains power via the included IEC lead during longer events.

Can the lights be controlled without DMX?

Yes. The T-bar has built-in auto programs, sound-activated modes, and master/slave operation selectable from the rear control panel. An infrared remote is also included for wireless control of modes and colours without needing a DMX controller.

What's the difference between RGB and RGBW?

RGBW adds a white LED channel to the standard red, green and blue. This allows the PAR lights to produce warmer whites and pastel tones that standard RGB cannot achieve, giving a wider palette for ambient washes and wedding lighting.
