Description

QTX Low Level Fog Fluid is a 5-litre water-based formula designed for heater-type fog machines that vaporise fluid over ice. When vaporised, the molecules are heavier than standard fog fluid and fall to the ground rather than rising, creating a floor-hugging fog effect similar to dry ice without the handling complexity or cost of CO2.

Designed for stage productions, weddings, themed events and Halloween installations where low-lying fog is needed, the fluid works in dedicated low-level fog machines that cool the vapour over ice before it exits the nozzle. The cooled vapour stays dense and close to the floor, dispersing slowly across a stage or dancefloor without rising into the air. The 5-litre container provides approximately 2-3 hours of continuous output depending on machine settings and room temperature.

The formula is non-toxic, leaves no oily residue on floors or equipment, and conforms to REACH EC directive 91/155/EC. The fluid itself is deep purple in colour but produces white fog when vaporised. The slow dispersion and ground stability make it suitable for indoor venues including theatres, function rooms and marquees where ceiling heights vary and ventilation would disperse lighter fog too quickly.
