Description

The QTX carrying bag is a 1650mm transport solution for standard lighting stands, built from heavy-duty fabric with reinforced carry handles and a full-length zip closure. The 280mm internal width accommodates folded tripod stands up to approximately 1.5m collapsed height, protecting the metal legs and locking mechanisms from scratches and weather exposure during transit.

Designed for mobile DJs, event crews and stage technicians who transport lighting rigs between venues, the bag holds a typical T-bar or tripod stand that breaks down into a 1.6m length. The reinforced handles distribute the weight of a loaded stand across the hand without cutting into the palm, and the full-length zip allows the stand to be slid in or out without fighting with a narrow opening. At 0.5kg unloaded, the bag adds minimal weight to a typical lighting rig setup.

The fabric construction protects against surface damage and light rain during load-in and load-out, though it is not a waterproof case. The bag folds flat for storage in a van or flight case when not in use, and the black finish hides scuffs and marks that accumulate during regular event work. The internal dimensions suit stands from brands including QTX, Equinox, Showtec and similar models within the 1650 x 280mm footprint.

Is it waterproof?

No. The heavy-duty fabric protects against surface scratches and light rain during short outdoor exposure, but it is not a sealed waterproof case. For extended outdoor storage or heavy rain, additional protection is needed.
