Description

Push is a ceiling light in white. A round white fitting with a deep prismatic diffuser set into a broad flat rim, the diffuser moulded with a fine grid so the light breaks into many small points rather than reading as one bright disc. The rim is wide and plain and steps down to the face, and a small dark sensor dome is let into it at the bottom edge. The body is low and sits tight against the ceiling. Everything but the diffuser and the sensor is a flat even white with no ornament. It switches on when it senses movement in the dark and switches itself off again after the time you choose. It measures 18cm across.

Mounted flush it clears a doorway and a low ceiling, so a corridor, a landing or a small bedroom is its territory, and it lights the whole room evenly rather than pooling on one surface. It is the light you put in first and stop noticing, which is the point of a flush fitting: it does the general lighting so the lamps in the room can do the rest. A timer turns it off again after 10, 30 or 60 seconds on a slide switch. It works on a motion, with a dusk sensor, reaching about 5 metres, so it comes on as somebody arrives.

It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms. It carries a G energy label.
