Description
The Knightsbridge Curved Edge multimedia combination plate integrates four 13A double-pole switched sockets with eight modular apertures (25x50mm Euro module format) behind a single white thermoset resin faceplate. The four sockets are arranged in two 2-gang units, each with independent DP switching that isolates both live and neutral lines, while the eight apertures accept Knightsbridge modular inserts for HDMI, satellite, CAT6, USB charging, coax or telecoms connections.
Designed for AV cabinet installations, home cinema walls, boardroom presentation areas and renovation projects where multiple signal and power connections need to converge at a single point, the plate eliminates the need for clustered individual faceplates. The 282x162x48mm cut-out fits a double-gang back box with sufficient depth to accommodate modular inserts and socket wiring behind the plate. The white curved-edge finish sits 7mm proud of the wall surface once fitted.
The thermoset resin construction carries Knightsbridge's anti-microbial treatment tested to ISO 22196:2011, making it suitable for high-touch environments including healthcare, hospitality and education settings. The curved profile softens the visual weight of the large faceplate and integrates more comfortably with period features than sharp-edged alternatives. The modular apertures are blanked on delivery, allowing installers to populate only the connections needed for each application without unused cutouts visible on the wall.

Frequently Asked
What modular inserts are compatible?
The plate accepts any Knightsbridge Euro module insert (25x50mm format), including HDMI, satellite F-type, CAT6 RJ45, USB chargers, coaxial, phone, speaker terminals and blank modules. Modules are sold separately and clip into the apertures without tools.
What back box depth is required?
A minimum 48mm depth back box is required to accommodate the combination plate wiring and modular insert connections. The cut-out dimensions are 282x162mm.
Can unused module apertures be left blank?
Yes. The plate includes blank modules for any apertures not in use, so the faceplate appears complete even if only some of the eight module positions are populated.
Is the anti-microbial treatment permanent?
The anti-microbial additive is incorporated into the thermoset resin during manufacture, not applied as a surface coating. It remains active throughout the product's service life and is tested to ISO 22196:2011 for efficacy against bacterial growth on contact surfaces.
