Description

The Knightsbridge UNDKIT3WCW is a three-light under cabinet LED kit consisting of three 68mm white puck lights, a dimmable constant-current driver, a 6-way connection box and 2.5m cables for each fitting. Each light outputs 225 lumens at 4000K cool white from an integrated 2.5W SMD LED, giving focused task lighting for kitchen worktops, display shelving and workbenches without the higher running costs of halogen or fluorescent alternatives.

Designed for both surface mounting and recessed installation into cabinet bases or shelves, each puck light has an 11mm projection when surface-mounted or requires a 63mm cut-out diameter for recessed fitting. The opal diffuser softens the LED light to reduce glare on reflective worktop surfaces. The kit comes pre-wired with 2.5m cable runs from each light to the connection box, which links to the driver. The driver handles 230V mains input and requires a trailing-edge dimmer for smooth dimming — leading-edge dimmers are not compatible.

The polycarbonate and pressed steel construction carries an IP20 rating, restricting use to dry indoor locations away from bathroom zones and outdoor exposure. The kit supports expansion to a maximum of six lights by adding three additional puck lights to the existing connection box and driver. A minimum of two lights must be connected for the driver to function correctly. The white finish suits painted or lacquered kitchen cabinetry where a clean, unobtrusive fitting is required.

Can these lights be dimmed?

Yes, but only with a trailing-edge dimmer. Leading-edge dimmers are not compatible with the constant-current driver supplied in this kit. Check the dimmer compatibility before installation to avoid flickering or failure to dim.

Can I install just one or two lights from the pack?

A minimum of two lights must be connected for the driver to function. Installing only one light will prevent the system from working. If you need fewer than two lights, consider a different product designed for single-light operation.

Can I add more lights to this kit later?

Yes. The 6-way connection box and driver support up to six lights total. You can purchase three additional puck lights separately and connect them to the existing connection box without replacing the driver.

What's the difference between surface mounting and recessed installation?

Surface mounting fixes the light to the underside of a cabinet with the 11mm puck projecting below the surface. Recessed installation requires a 63mm hole drilled into the cabinet base, allowing the light to sit flush. Both methods use the same fittings.
