This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker marked 'FREEZER' in brushed chrome finish, designed to clip onto modular grid switches in place of a blank rocker. The designation is engraved into the metal surface, providing permanent labelling that won't rub off over time. The rocker measures 33mm high by 16mm wide, matching standard Knightsbridge grid switch modules.

Designed for kitchens, utility rooms and commercial kitchen installations where multiple appliances share a bank of switches, the marked rocker removes guesswork about which switch controls which appliance. The rocker clips into the same grid frame used for standard grid switches, replacing either an existing blank rocker or one with a different marking. This allows installers and homeowners to customise a multi-gang grid switch plate to match the specific appliances wired into each position.

The brushed chrome finish provides a directional grain that diffuses reflections and pairs with both contemporary and traditional kitchen finishes. The rocker body is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel facing plate carrying the brushed chrome coating. Yes. The rocker is designed to clip into any Knightsbridge modular grid switch frame that accepts standard 16mm-wide modules. It replaces the existing rocker on a single module position within a multi-gang grid plate.

Can the marking be customised or changed?

No. The 'FREEZER' designation is engraved into the metal facing during manufacture and cannot be altered. Knightsbridge produces a range of pre-marked rockers for common appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, immersion, and others.

How is the rocker replaced?

The rocker clips onto the underlying grid switch mechanism. To replace, gently prise the existing rocker from the switch body using a flat-blade screwdriver at the base of the rocker, then clip the new marked rocker into place. No rewiring or removal of the grid plate from the wall is needed.
