Description

The Fort smart WiFi floodlight camera combines a 1080p security camera with twin LED floodlights on a single wall-mounted unit. The 2MP camera records at full HD resolution with a 110° wide-angle field of view, while the two LED panels deliver 2000 lumens combined output at 5000K daylight colour temperature. The camera streams live video over a 2.4GHz WiFi connection to the Fort mobile app, with no subscription fees or cloud storage charges required.

Designed for external installation on residential driveways, garages, garden walls and commercial perimeters, the unit mounts to a standard outdoor electrical back box and requires mains power. The motion sensor triggers both video recording and floodlight activation when movement is detected within the camera's field of view, with sensitivity adjustable through the app. The twin floodlights can also be remotely activated or dimmed independently of motion detection, allowing the unit to function as both security lighting and controlled perimeter illumination.

The camera housing carries an IP65 ingress protection rating, making it suitable for permanent outdoor installation in temperatures between -10°C and +40°C. Two-way audio allows conversation through the camera via the mobile app, functioning as a remote doorbell or delivery instruction point. The Fort app stores recorded clips locally on the device's internal memory, with no reliance on cloud services. The white powder-coated metal housing measures 316mm wide by 225mm high, with the two LED panels angled outward to cover a broader area than single-head floodlights.

Does this require a subscription for cloud storage?

No. The Fort floodlight camera stores recorded clips locally on internal memory and streams live video directly to the Fort mobile app over your WiFi network. There are no subscription fees or ongoing cloud storage charges.

What WiFi network does it need?

The camera requires a 2.4GHz WiFi connection. It does not support 5GHz networks. Check your router settings to confirm a 2.4GHz band is active and broadcasting before installation.

Can the floodlights be controlled independently of the camera?

Yes. The twin LED floodlights can be remotely activated, dimmed or switched off through the Fort app independently of motion detection or camera recording. This allows the unit to function as both security lighting and general outdoor illumination.

What is the detection range of the motion sensor?

The motion sensor covers approximately 10m range within the 110° camera field of view. Sensitivity can be adjusted through the app to reduce false triggers from passing traffic or animals outside your property boundary.
