Description
The Eamon is a compact outdoor wall light built from white polycarbonate with a cylindrical body housing a single GU10 lamp fitting (bulb sold separately). The fitting measures 60mm in diameter and projects 88mm from the wall, directing light downward through a clear lens at the base of the cylinder. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the Eamon suitable for covered porches, external doorways, garage entries and courtyard walls.
Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the Eamon mounts on standard UK back boxes and accepts any GU10 LED bulb up to 5W. The polycarbonate construction resists corrosion from salt spray, making the fitting particularly well-suited to coastal installations where metal fittings would oxidise. The compact footprint and downward throw of light work well for pathway illumination alongside front doors, on either side of garage doors, or to mark steps and level changes in outdoor spaces.
The white finish provides a neutral backdrop that pairs with both modern render and traditional painted masonry. The Class II double-insulated construction means no earth connection is required during installation. Dimmability depends on the GU10 bulb chosen — pairing with a dimmable LED and compatible wall dimmer allows output control. The Eamon is part of a wider Knightsbridge range that includes matching up/down wall lights and spike lights in white, black, anthracite and silver finishes.

Frequently Asked
What does IP54 mean for outdoor use?
IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. It suits covered outdoor positions like porches, eaves and doorways, but is not fully waterproof for exposed mounting in direct rainfall without shelter.
Does it come with a bulb?
No. The Eamon accepts any GU10 LED bulb up to 5W (sold separately). Most users pair it with a 3-5W warm white LED between 2700K and 3000K for outdoor pathway and entrance lighting.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmability depends on the GU10 bulb you choose. If you pair the Eamon with a dimmable GU10 LED and a compatible wall dimmer, the light output can be controlled. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will not respond to dimmer switches.
Is it suitable for coastal areas?
Yes. The polycarbonate construction resists corrosion from salt spray, making the Eamon well-suited to coastal installations where metal fittings would oxidise over time. The fitting requires minimal maintenance beyond occasional cleaning of the lens.
