Description

The Eamon is a single-direction outdoor wall light with a GU10 fitting inside a cylindrical polycarbonate body finished in brushed brass. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for porches, covered doorways, garage exteriors and garden walls under eaves. The polycarbonate construction resists corrosion in coastal areas where salt spray would damage aluminium or steel fittings over time.

Designed to mount at eye level or above on exterior walls, the Eamon directs a focused beam downwards through a clear polycarbonate lens, suitable for lighting pathways, steps or wall-adjacent planting beds. The 60mm diameter and 125mm height give a compact profile that suits both traditional and contemporary properties without dominating the wall plane. The 88mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of render or brick textures while maintaining a discreet stance. The fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED up to 5W (sold separately), allowing control over colour temperature and beam angle to suit the application.

The brushed brass finish is a painted coating over the polycarbonate body, giving the appearance of metal with the corrosion resistance and lighter weight of polymer construction. The Class II double-insulation rating means the fitting does not require an earth connection, simplifying installation on walls where earthing is not readily available. The Eamon is part of a matching range that includes an up/down wall light and spike light in the same finish, enabling consistent outdoor lighting across a property front or garden perimeter.

What IP rating does it carry?

The Eamon carries an IP54 rating, protecting against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. This makes it suitable for covered outdoor positions such as porches, garage exteriors and walls under eaves. It is not rated for fully exposed positions where driving rain or submersion could occur.

What bulb does it take?

The fitting takes a standard GU10 LED bulb up to 5W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white 3W-5W GU10 LED at 2700K-3000K for pathway or door lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb fitted. If you use a dimmable GU10 LED and pair it with a compatible outdoor-rated dimmer, the fitting will dim. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will not respond to dimmer controls.

Is the brushed brass finish metal?

No. The brushed brass is a painted finish over polycarbonate construction. This gives the appearance of metal with the corrosion resistance and lighter weight of polymer, making it particularly suited to coastal installations where salt spray would corrode actual brass or aluminium over time.
