Description

The Dekala is a 90cm round coffee table with a black marble-effect tempered glass top set within a polished gold stainless steel rim, supported on a central pedestal with a black marble base. The top surface is 8mm tempered glass printed with a black marble pattern showing white veining, providing the appearance of natural stone without the weight or maintenance requirements of solid marble.

Designed for living rooms, lounge areas and hotel lobbies where a low-profile centrepiece is needed, the 45cm height positions the table surface slightly below standard sofa arm height. The circular footprint of 90cm diameter accommodates four armchairs arranged around it or provides a focal point in front of a two- or three-seater sofa. The central pedestal construction leaves floor space open underneath, allowing rugs or flooring patterns to remain visible.

The gold stainless steel rim is polished to a mirror finish, reflecting surrounding light and contrasting against the black glass top. The base is cut from natural black marble with white veining that varies between individual tables depending on the section of stone used. At 28.15kg the table has sufficient weight to remain stable on carpets and rugs without needing additional anchoring. The tempered glass top is heat-resistant and can be wiped clean with standard glass cleaner.

The top is 8mm tempered glass with a printed black marble-effect finish. The base is cut from natural black marble. This combination provides the appearance of a solid marble table at a lower weight and with easier maintenance.

How is the glass cleaned?

The tempered glass top can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner or a damp microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive pads that could scratch the printed marble pattern on the underside of the glass.

Does the marble base vary between tables?

Yes. The base is cut from natural black marble, so the white veining pattern and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is characteristic of natural stone.

What size room does it suit?

The 90cm diameter works in living rooms from approximately 12m² upwards. In smaller rooms the circular shape can actually feel less imposing than a rectangular table of similar surface area, as it has no sharp corners projecting into walkways.
