Description

The Knightsbridge PWL5 is a curved plaster wall light cast from natural gypsum, directing light both upwards and downwards through open top and bottom apertures. A single G9 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the cylindrical body, with the curved profile softening the shadow lines where the light meets the wall. The plaster construction gives the fitting a solid 150mm height and 125mm projection from the wall surface.

Designed for hallways, staircases, landings and living room feature walls, the wall light provides ambient rather than task lighting, with the up-down directionality reducing glare while highlighting wall texture. The fitting works as a single accent or in multiples spaced 1.5-2m apart along a corridor or staircase run. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry internal spaces only.

The natural gypsum finish is white when supplied but accepts any good-quality emulsion paint, allowing the fitting to be colour-matched to the surrounding wall during decoration. Once painted the same colour as the wall, the fitting becomes a recessed light feature rather than a visible object, with only the wash of light revealing its position. The Class I earthing requires a standard three-core mains connection. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific G9 bulb installed.
