The Schuller curved glass console table is formed from a single sheet of 12mm tempered glass that curves through a continuous arc to create the top, sides and base in one unbroken profile. The transparent finish and rounded edges allow the piece to sit in a hallway or behind a sofa without imposing visual weight on the room.

Designed for narrow entryways, hallway spaces and behind-sofa positions, the 90cm width and 40cm depth provide a display surface for lamps, keys, post or decorative objects without encroaching far into the floor area. The arched side profiles distribute the load across the curved glass structure, which supports approximately 28kg total weight including the table itself. The tempered glass construction resists impacts better than standard annealed glass.

The transparent glass reflects and refracts light from windows and ceiling fixtures, which can make a small hallway or entryway feel wider and brighter than it would with an opaque console. Use a standard glass cleaner or a mix of water and white vinegar applied with a microfibre cloth. Wipe in circular motions and buff dry to avoid streaking. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could scratch the glass surface.

Is the glass toughened for safety?

Yes. The console is made from 12mm tempered glass, which is heat-treated to increase impact resistance. If the glass does break, it shatters into small granular chunks rather than large sharp shards, reducing injury risk.
