Description

The Cuboid is a 150mm x 100mm rectangular plaster wall light with open apertures at top and bottom, each housing a G9 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately). The body is cast from natural gypsum plaster and finished in white, with sharp edges and flat surfaces that give the fitting an architectural rather than decorative character. Light projects upward and downward in two beams, washing the wall above and below the fitting.

Designed for hallways, staircases, living rooms and corridors where wall-washing accent light is needed without a ceiling pendant, the Cuboid suits modern and contemporary interiors with clean lines. The 125mm projection from the wall and the dual-beam output work best where the wall surface itself is the feature — textured plaster, exposed brick, or painted surfaces that benefit from grazing light. The Class I rating requires earth connection during installation.

The plaster construction allows the fitting to be painted with standard emulsion or masonry paint to match or contrast with the wall behind it, which is useful when redecorating or when integrating the light into a specific colour scheme. The matte white gypsum finish diffuses reflected light softly, avoiding the hard reflections of metal or glass fittings. Each G9 socket accepts halogen or LED bulbs up to 40W, with dimmer compatibility depending on the bulb chosen.

The IP20 rating limits the Cuboid to dry indoor environments — it is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use. The rectangular form and open-ended design mean the bulbs are visible when standing directly below or above the fitting, so the choice of bulb affects the visual appearance as well as the light output.
