Description

The Cosmos V1 is a three-light LED bar pendant built around three flattened resin spheres suspended at staggered heights from fine cables. Version 1 of the Cosmos cluster pairs a sage green sphere, a smoke grey sphere and a smaller dark coffee sphere, each lit by an integrated 15W 3000K LED. The flattened disc form gives each shade a depth that shifts with viewing angle, reading as a flat circle from straight on and a shallow lens from the side.

The pendant is sized for dining tables, kitchen islands and reception areas where a horizontal lighting arrangement suits the room better than a single central fitting. The 50cm cluster width works above tables and islands of around 1.2-1.8m in length, and the 150cm cable allows the spheres to be set at varied drops on installation, exaggerating the floating composition. Suspension over the table typically sits 700-800mm above the surface.

Resin construction keeps each sphere lightweight despite the visual mass, which allows the cables to remain thin and almost invisible against a pale ceiling. The integrated LEDs run at 3000K warm white, casting diffused ambient light through the resin shells rather than directed task light. Total fitting height is 180cm from ceiling to lowest sphere, with the upper canopy concealing the wiring for each of the three drops.
