Description

The Cinto is a 1510mm polished chrome wall light built around a vertical LED strip set within a looping chrome frame. The integrated 20W LED produces 1600 lumens of warm 3000K light, running the length of the fitting to create both ambient wash lighting and a visible vertical accent on the wall. The chrome loops form a continuous sculptural curve that starts at the 160mm x 120mm backplate and extends upward along the LED channel.

Designed for feature walls in double-height hallways, stair landings and larger living rooms with wall heights of 2.5m or above, the Cinto works where ceiling lighting cannot reach or where a vertical accent is needed to break up blank wall expanses. The 1600 lumens output provides enough light to illuminate a 4-5m hallway on its own or to supplement ceiling fittings in open-plan spaces. The fitting includes a removable plug and an inline footswitch on the cable, so it can be wall-mounted without requiring hard-wiring to a switched circuit.

The polished chrome finish is a high-gloss reflective coating that catches daylight from windows and bounces it around the room, adding brightness beyond the LED's direct output. The chrome frame sits approximately 160mm proud of the wall when mounted, creating a three-dimensional profile visible from multiple angles. At 1.21kg the fitting needs secure fixing into a solid wall or onto a batten behind plasterboard. The backplate carries two keyhole slots for screw-mounting.

The two keyhole slots let you position the backplate before final tightening, and the 1.21kg weight means the fitting settles firmly once the screws are seated against a solid wall.

Is the Cinto dimmable?

No. The integrated 20W LED operates at full output only and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The inline footswitch on the cable provides on/off control.

Does it need to be hard-wired?

No. The Cinto comes with a removable three-pin UK plug and an inline footswitch on the cable, so it can be plugged into a standard socket and switched on/off without requiring a wall switch or hard-wiring to a lighting circuit. The cable can be concealed behind trunking or routed to a nearby socket.

What wall height is needed?

At 1510mm tall, the Cinto suits walls of 2.5m or higher. In standard 2.4m ceiling-height rooms the fitting would sit very close to the ceiling when mounted at a comfortable viewing height, which limits its visual impact. The fitting works best on taller feature walls, stair landings, or double-height spaces.

How is it fixed to the wall?

The 160mm x 120mm backplate carries two keyhole mounting slots. For solid walls, use appropriate wall plugs and screws. For plasterboard or hollow walls, mount onto a batten fixed to studs or use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated for the 1.21kg weight plus a safety margin.
