Description

The AV:Link HDMI 2.0 splitter distributes one HDMI source to four displays simultaneously, supporting resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz with HDCP 2.2 copy protection. The unit accepts a single HDMI input and replicates the signal across four HDMI outputs, allowing identical content to be shown on multiple screens without quality degradation.

Designed for retail digital signage, hospitality installations, home cinema multi-room setups and conference room AV, the splitter handles 4K UHD content from set-top boxes, media players, gaming consoles and laptops. The metal chassis measures 178 x 67 x 23mm and weighs 230g, making it compact enough to fit behind displays or in AV racks. Gold-plated HDMI connectors on all five ports (one input, four outputs) reduce contact resistance and maintain signal integrity across the 600MHz bandwidth.

Audio passthrough includes DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, Dolby-AC3 and DSD formats, preserving multi-channel audio from Blu-ray players and streaming devices. The splitter supports 8-bit, 10-bit and 12-bit deep colour, allowing HDR content to pass through to compatible displays. What's the maximum cable length between the splitter and displays?

For 4K @ 60Hz content, use HDMI cables no longer than 10m between the splitter and each display. For 4K @ 30Hz or Full HD (1080p) content, cables up to 35m can be used without significant signal degradation.

Is HDCP 2.2 required for the source and displays?

Yes. The splitter is HDCP 2.2 compliant, which means both the source device (Blu-ray player, streaming box, console) and all connected displays must support HDCP 2.2 to view protected 4K content such as Ultra HD Blu-ray discs or 4K streaming services.

Can I power this from a USB port instead of mains?
