Description

The Knightsbridge 45A DP switch is a double-pole isolator with a neon indicator and a red rocker mounted on a white 2-gang size square edge plate. The 45A rating makes it suitable for high-draw fixed appliances such as cookers, electric showers and immersion heaters, where a visible isolation point is required by wiring regulations.

Designed for kitchen, utility and bathroom installation, the switch provides a clear on/off status via the neon indicator that lights when the circuit is live. The red rocker gives a high-visibility accent, making it easy to identify the cooker or shower isolator at a glance. The double-pole switching disconnects both live and neutral conductors when off, providing complete circuit isolation for safe appliance maintenance.

The white square edge plate is made from thermoset resin with an anti-microbial coating tested to ISO 22196:2011, inhibiting bacterial growth on the surface. The 9mm projection from the wall keeps the overall profile low, while screw cap covers are included to hide fixing screws once installed.
