Description

The Knightsbridge 2W LED under cabinet light is a 73mm diameter chrome disc fitting with an integrated LED and a switchable colour temperature control. The fitting can be toggled between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 5000K cool white via a small switch on the fitting, allowing the light colour to be adjusted after installation to suit the room or task.

Designed for kitchen worktops, shelf lighting and display cabinet interiors, the fitting mounts either surface-fixed (30mm projection) or recessed (25mm depth, 58mm cut-out) depending on the void available behind the mounting surface. The mains voltage design means no separate driver is required, simplifying installation in tight cabinet spaces. The 1.2m cable allows the fitting to be linked to the mains supply or daisy-chained with other Knightsbridge under cabinet lights in a run.

The pressed steel body carries a chrome finish that pairs well with chrome kitchen hardware and handles. The clear polycarbonate diffuser over the SMD LED provides a 115-degree beam spread, giving broad illumination across a worktop or shelf rather than a tight spotlight effect. At 2.5W the fitting draws minimal power and is rated for 30,000 hours of use (L70B50), which equates to around 10 years at typical domestic use hours.

How do I change the colour temperature?

The fitting has a small switch accessible before installation that toggles between 3000K, 4000K and 5000K. The selected colour temperature is fixed once the fitting is powered on and cannot be changed during use without disconnecting power and flipping the switch again.

Can it be recessed or must it be surface-mounted?

Both options are supported. Surface mounting gives a 30mm projection from the cabinet base. Recessed mounting requires a 58mm cut-out and a minimum 50mm void depth behind the mounting surface, with the fitting sitting 25mm into that void.

Is the LED dimmable?

No. The fitting is non-dimmable and should be connected to a standard mains-voltage switch circuit only, not a dimmer circuit.
