Description
The Knightsbridge 25 x 50mm brush module is a cable entry fitting designed to route cables through walls whilst concealing the aperture behind a curtain of black bristles. The module fits standard Euro-module faceplates and grid systems, providing a grey ABS frame that clips into single or multi-gang grid plates.
Primarily used for wall-mounted TV installations, the brush module allows HDMI cables, aerial leads and power cables to pass cleanly from the back of the screen through the wall to sockets or media equipment on the other side. The bristles part to allow cable insertion but close back afterwards, hiding the wall cavity and giving a finished appearance. The module sits flush when installed, adding minimal projection beyond the faceplate surface.
The grey finish matches standard grey plastic electrical accessories and blends into walls painted in neutral tones. The 25 x 50mm footprint occupies one standard Euro-module slot, leaving space for additional modules (data, USB, HDMI passthrough) in the same multi-gang faceplate where needed. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations away from moisture.
Note: this module must NOT be installed in the same faceplate as live power sockets or mains voltage terminals. The bristles do not provide electrical insulation, and cables passing through could carry hazardous voltage within easy reach. Use only for low-voltage AV cables or in separate faceplates away from mains power.

Frequently Asked
What faceplate does this fit?
The module fits any standard Euro-module grid faceplate that accepts 25 x 50mm inserts. Knightsbridge produces compatible grid plates in 1-gang, 2-gang and larger configurations across various finishes.
Can it be used alongside power sockets?
No. The brush bristles do not provide electrical insulation. Cables passing through the module could carry mains voltage and present a shock hazard. Install brush modules only in separate faceplates away from live power sockets or terminals.
What cables can pass through the bristles?
The bristles accommodate most standard AV cables including HDMI, coaxial aerial, network patch leads and USB cables. Thicker power cables and plugged connectors may require gentle persuasion to part the bristles but will pass through without damage.
Is the module suitable for bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations. Bathrooms require higher IP ratings for electrical accessories, and the brush module does not meet those requirements.
