Description
The Knightsbridge LFC24RGB is a 24V RGB LED strip light supplied on a 30m reel, with 36 x 5050 SMD LEDs per metre along a 10mm-wide flexible printed circuit board. The strip draws 9W per metre and runs on 24V DC, requiring a separate constant voltage driver and RGB controller (both sold separately) to power and control the colour-changing modes.
Designed for indoor accent lighting, under-cabinet illumination, alcove lighting and perimeter cove lighting in residential and commercial interiors, the strip can be run in continuous lengths up to 10m from a single driver connection. Longer installations require additional driver feeds at 10m intervals. The strip carries an IP20 rating, meaning it has no moisture protection and must be installed in dry indoor locations only.
The strip arrives with 3M self-adhesive backing along its full length, allowing it to be pressed onto clean, dry surfaces without additional fixings. The 10mm width fits into shallow recesses and channels without protruding, and the 1.8mm thickness (including adhesive backing) keeps the strip flat against the mounting surface. Cut sections are spaced every 166mm, marked on the strip, where the circuit can be trimmed with scissors to fit exact lengths without damaging the LEDs.
RGB capability means the strip can produce red, green, blue and mixed colours (cyan, magenta, yellow, white) depending on the controller paired with it. Most RGB controllers offer static colour selection, smooth fading transitions between colours, and dynamic multi-colour chase modes. The strip itself is the light source only; all colour control functionality comes from the external RGB controller unit, which is not included with this reel.

Frequently Asked
What else do I need to make this work?
The strip requires a 24V constant voltage LED driver sized to match the total wattage of the installed length (9W per metre), plus an RGB controller and remote to control colour changes. Neither the driver nor the RGB controller are included with the reel. Knightsbridge and other manufacturers offer compatible RGB controllers — contact us if you need recommendations for a specific installation length.
Can I cut the strip to length?
Yes. The strip has cut marks every 166mm where it can be trimmed with scissors without damaging the circuit. Cutting at any other point will damage the LEDs in that section and void the warranty.
What's the maximum run length from one driver?
10m is the maximum continuous run from a single driver connection. Voltage drop beyond 10m reduces brightness and colour accuracy at the far end of the strip. Installations longer than 10m need additional driver feeds at 10m intervals, wired in parallel from the main power supply.
Can this be used outdoors or in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating means the strip has no protection against moisture or dust ingress. It must be installed in dry indoor locations only. Knightsbridge produces IP65 and IP67 rated LED strips for outdoor and wet-location use — use the search function to find those alternatives.
