Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24CW1M is a 1-metre 24V DC LED strip light delivering 525 lumens at 4000K cool white through 60 surface-mounted 2835 LEDs. The strip measures 8mm wide by 1.2mm thick and arrives pre-fitted with 3M self-adhesive backing tape for direct installation onto clean, dry surfaces. The strip requires a separate 24V constant-voltage driver (sold separately) and draws 4.8W per metre.

Designed for interior accent lighting, under-cabinet installation, cove lighting, shelving illumination and display case lighting, the strip provides a neutral cool white tone suited to kitchens, offices, retail spaces and modern residential interiors. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry internal locations only — not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor installations or anywhere moisture is present. The strip can be cut every 100mm along marked cutting points, allowing exact length adjustment on installation.

The 24V DC specification enables longer continuous runs than 12V alternatives — this strip supports up to 20 metres end-to-end before voltage drop affects output. The 120-degree beam angle provides wide lateral spread, reducing LED hotspots when installed in shallow profiles. The strip is dimmable when paired with appropriate dimmer-compatible drivers and LED controllers. CRI exceeds 80, providing reasonable colour rendering for general lighting applications, and the L70B50 rating of 54,000 hours indicates the strip will maintain at least 70% of its initial output for approximately six years under continuous use.

Knightsbridge produces this strip in multiple reel lengths (1m, 3m, 5m, 50m) and offers a full range of compatible drivers, controllers, connectors and aluminium extrusion profiles separately. The 8mm width fits most shallow-profile extrusions designed for accent and task lighting.

What driver does this LED strip need?

The strip requires a 24V DC constant-voltage LED driver (sold separately). For a 1-metre length drawing 4.8W, a driver rated at 10W or above provides adequate headroom. Knightsbridge offers compatible drivers in various wattages depending on the total run length and whether dimming is required.

Can the strip be cut to length?

Yes. The strip can be cut every 100mm along marked cutting points. Once cut, the strip can be terminated with compatible connectors or soldered leads, but cannot be re-joined using the original adhesive backing.

Is this suitable for bathroom or outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the strip to dry internal locations only. For bathrooms or outdoor installations, use an IP67-rated variant from the Knightsbridge range.

What is the maximum continuous run length?

The maximum continuous end-to-end run is 20 metres before voltage drop begins to affect light output at the far end. Longer installations require power injection at multiple points along the run or separate driver zones.
