The Knightsbridge 20AX DP grid module is a single-gang-width double pole switch with an integrated LED indicator, designed to fit modular grid systems. The module clips onto the front of a grid mounting frame (sold separately), allowing multiple modules to be combined in a single faceplate for custom control layouts. The 20AX rating handles loads up to 4,600W on 230V, suitable for high-draw circuits including immersion heaters, storage heaters and distribution control.

Designed for residential, commercial and light industrial installations where circuit status needs to be visible at a glance, the LED indicator illuminates when the circuit is live, providing immediate visual confirmation of power state. The double pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when off, offering additional safety for fixed appliances and circuits where complete isolation is required. The module fits standard 35mm minimum back boxes and works with Knightsbridge grid frames in 2-gang, 3-gang and 4-gang configurations.

The white UREA finish is a thermosetting polymer that resists discolouration and surface wear better than standard ABS plastics, maintaining a clean appearance over the 25-year warranty period. The rocker is fixed and non-replaceable, reducing potential points of failure and ensuring consistent switching action throughout the module's service life. The 24.8mm width makes this a single-module component in grid terminology, so three of these modules would fit a standard 3-gang grid frame.

What is a grid module and do I need a separate frame?
