Description

The Knightsbridge 20AX 2-way single-pole module is a grid switch component with a centre-off position, allowing control of two separate circuits from a single rocker. The module clips into Knightsbridge Grid mounting frames (sold separately) from the front without needing to remove the frame from the wall, making it straightforward to build or modify custom switch configurations.

Designed for residential and commercial installations requiring flexible circuit control, the centre-off position provides three states: circuit A on, both circuits off, or circuit B on. This suits applications like controlling two separate lighting zones from one switch position, or switching between two power sources. The 20AX rating handles loads up to 4,600W on 230V, making it suitable for higher-draw circuits beyond standard 10A lighting loads.

The brushed chrome rocker has a low-sheen metallic finish that minimises fingerprints and pairs with contemporary, industrial and warm-toned interiors. The module measures 24.8mm wide (one grid module width) and requires a minimum 35mm back box depth when fitted into a Grid frame. The ABS body and steel internal contacts provide a robust construction backed by a 25-year warranty.

Centre-off provides three switch states: circuit A on, both circuits off, or circuit B on. This is useful for controlling two separate lighting zones from one switch, or switching between two power sources without needing a separate isolation switch.

What Grid frame is needed?

This module clips into Knightsbridge Grid mounting frames, sold separately. The module is 24.8mm wide (one grid width), so it fits single-module frames or can be combined with other modules in multi-gang Grid frames.

What load can it handle?

Can the module be removed once fitted?
