The Knightsbridge GDM006MW is a 20AX 2-way retractive single pole switch module in a matt white finish, designed to clip into grid mounting frames (sold separately) from the front. The switch operates on a retractive action, meaning the rocker returns to its centre position after being pressed, making it suitable for controlling motorised systems, automated lighting circuits, and other applications requiring momentary switching rather than latched on/off control.

Used in modular grid systems for residential, commercial and hospitality installations, the module fits any standard Knightsbridge grid mounting frame and can be combined with other modules (sockets, data outlets, dimmers) to create custom switch configurations. The 35mm minimum mounting box depth allows installation in most standard back boxes. The 20AX rating handles loads up to 4,600W at 230V, making it suitable for high-draw circuits including multiple lighting zones and motor control.

The matt white ABS body and steel internals provide a durable housing that resists impact and daily wear. The 'PRESS' marking on the rocker face gives clear user instruction for the retractive function. At 24.8mm wide and 56.3mm tall, the module occupies one grid space in a frame, allowing multiple modules to be installed side-by-side in 2-gang, 3-gang or larger grid plates to suit the circuit requirements.
