Description

The Knightsbridge GDM200PC is a 2-way trailing edge dimmer module with a polished chrome rotary control, handling 10-200W incandescent lamps or 10-100W dimmable LED loads. The module fits Knightsbridge Screwless and Flat Plate modular grid systems, occupying one module width (25mm) within a standard grid frame.

Designed for multi-location lighting control, the 2-way configuration allows switching and dimming from two points in a room using standard 2-way wiring. The trailing edge dimming technology cuts power at the end of each mains cycle rather than the leading edge, reducing electromagnetic interference and providing smoother, quieter dimming for both resistive incandescent lamps and electronic LED drivers. The press-on/press-off rotary control turns the circuit on and off without needing to rotate the dimmer to zero.

The module requires a minimum 35mm back box depth and presents as a polished chrome rotary knob projecting 23mm from the grid plate once installed. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations. For dimmable LED installations, compatibility should be verified with the lamp manufacturer before installation, and loads should be limited to 10-12 lamps per dimmer to prevent inrush current issues when multiple LED drivers switch on simultaneously.
