Description

This Knightsbridge under cabinet light kit includes three 2.5W LED fittings in white, a dimmable constant current driver, a 6-way connection box, and 2.5m cables per fitting. Each fitting delivers 195 lumens at 3000K warm white through an opal polycarbonate diffuser, providing task lighting for kitchen worktops, shelving and display areas.

The fittings can be surface-mounted or recessed into 63mm cut-outs, with an 11mm projection when surface-fixed and a 68mm diameter face. The connection box supports up to six lights in total, allowing the kit to be expanded with additional fittings sold separately. The dimmable driver is compatible with trailing edge dimmers only — leading edge dimmers are not supported and may cause flicker or failure to dim smoothly.

The white finish pairs cleanly with white or light-coloured cabinetry, and the slim 11mm profile keeps the fittings unobtrusive under shallow wall cabinets. Each fitting uses SMD LED technology with a CRI above 80 and a 100-degree beam angle, giving even spread across worktop surfaces without dark spots or harsh edges. The polycarbonate and pressed steel construction carries a Class II double-insulated rating and an IP20 rating for dry interior use.

A minimum of two lamps is required for the driver to operate correctly. The L70B50 rating of 25,000 hours means the LEDs will maintain at least 70% of their initial brightness for approximately 25,000 hours of continuous use, equivalent to around 11 years at 6 hours per day.
