Description

The Knightsbridge 1m aluminium LED profile is a floor-recessed channel designed to house LED strip lighting flush with the floor surface. The profile measures 1000mm long and 27.2mm wide, with a 9mm recessed depth that sits below floor level and a 2mm projection above, creating a near-flush finish when installed. The kit includes a 1m opal diffuser, two mounting clips and two end caps.

Designed for hallways, kitchen toe-kicks, staircase nosing and architectural floor lighting where LED strip needs to be protected from foot traffic while providing diffused light along the floor plane. The 22mm wide cut-out channel houses the aluminium profile, with the opal diffuser snapping into the top to protect the LED strip and soften the light output. The profile accepts LED strip up to 12mm wide, covering most standard 5mm and 10mm tape products.

The matt silver aluminium construction provides heat dissipation for the LED strip and structural rigidity to prevent flex under foot traffic. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor locations only — not suitable for wet rooms, bathrooms or outdoor use. Additional mounting clips and end caps are sold separately (SKU: 1MFLRCAP) for installations requiring multiple 1m sections joined end-to-end.

The profile accepts LED strip up to 12mm wide, which covers most standard 5mm and 10mm LED tape products. Measure your LED strip width before ordering to confirm compatibility.

Is the diffuser included?

Yes. The kit includes a 1m opal diffuser, two mounting clips and two end caps. The LED strip itself is sold separately and must be purchased to match the voltage and colour temperature you need.

Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for wet rooms, bathrooms (zones 1-3) or outdoor installations where moisture is present.

How do I join multiple sections?

Additional mounting clips and end caps are sold separately (SKU: 1MFLRCAP). Multiple 1m profiles can be installed end-to-end in the same cut-out channel, with the LED strip running continuously through each section.
