18W LED Linkable Striplight CCT Adjustable - 1138mm White

The Knightsbridge 18W LED striplight is a 1138mm linkable fitting with adjustable colour temperature between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 6500K cool white. The colour selection is controlled by a switch on the fitting itself, and once set the built-in memory retains the last chosen temperature even after power-off. Light output varies from 1675lm at 3000K through 1915lm at 4000K to 1780lm at 6500K, all from the same 18W LED module behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser.

Designed for under-cabinet lighting in kitchens, wardrobes and workshops, and for cove or cornice installations in living spaces and retail, the striplight can be mounted horizontally or vertically using the included fixing clips. The 230V mains connection runs through a 2m power cord, and multiple units link together using the included inline coupler or separate link leads sold by Knightsbridge. Each linked unit can be switched to a different colour temperature independently, so a run of three striplights could show 3000K in one zone, 4000K in another and 6500K in a third. Up to 20 fittings can be linked on a single circuit.

The white polycarbonate body measures 1138mm long by 22.8mm wide with a 36mm projection from the mounting surface. The 140° beam angle provides wide spread suitable for task lighting and general illumination without creating harsh shadows. The fitting carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use and Class II construction for additional electrical safety. The LED module is rated to L70B50 at 54,000 hours, meaning at least 70% of the original light output remains after 54,000 hours of operation for 50% of tested units.

How is the colour temperature changed?

A switch on the striplight body cycles between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 6500K cool white. Once set, the fitting remembers the last selected temperature and returns to it when powered on again. Each linked unit can be set to a different temperature independently.

How many units can be linked together?

Up to 20 striplights can be linked on a single circuit. The fitting includes one inline coupler in the box. Additional link leads in various lengths are available separately from Knightsbridge for longer runs or corner transitions.

Can it be used under kitchen cabinets?

Yes. The 36mm projection fits within the depth of most kitchen wall cabinets, and the 1138mm length suits standard 1200mm cabinet widths. The IP20 rating is suitable for dry indoor locations including kitchens, provided the fitting is not exposed to direct water contact.

Is it dimmable?

No. The striplight does not support dimming. Light output is fixed at the rated lumens for each colour temperature setting, controlled only by switching the mains power on or off.
