Description
The Knightsbridge 13W LED striplight is an 838mm polycarbonate batten fitting with an integrated LED delivering 1020lm of cool white 4000K light through an opal diffuser. The fitting includes a 2m power cable, an independent on/off switch, a connector coupler for linking to additional units, and fixing clips for surface mounting onto walls, under cabinets or inside wardrobes.
Designed for kitchens, utility rooms, workshops, retail displays and under-cabinet installations, the striplight provides functional task lighting with a wide 145° beam angle that reduces harsh shadows. The linkable design allows up to 12 units to be connected end-to-end on a single power source, making it suitable for continuous runs along worktops, shelving or back-of-counter installations. Each unit has its own switch, allowing zones to be controlled independently even when physically linked.
The white polycarbonate body measures 838mm long by 22.8mm wide with a 36mm projection from the mounting surface, giving a low-profile fit in tight spaces such as under wall-mounted cabinets. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations, and the Class II construction (double-insulated) eliminates the need for an earth connection during installation. The integrated LED has an L70B50 rated lifespan of 54,000 hours and delivers 120.2lm per watt, putting it in energy class E under post-2021 UK labelling.

Frequently Asked
How many striplights can be linked together?
Up to 12 units can be connected end-to-end on a single mains supply using the included connector couplers. Each unit retains its own independent switch when linked, allowing zones to be controlled separately.
Is this suitable for use in bathrooms or outdoors?
No. The IP20 rating limits the striplight to dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor application.
Can the striplight be dimmed?
No. The integrated LED is not dimmable and should be connected to a standard on/off switch or used with the built-in switch on each unit.
What is the colour temperature and how does it compare to warm white?
The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral cool white light, appearing crisper and more clinical than the warmer 2700-3000K yellower tones typically used in living spaces. This makes it well-suited to task lighting in kitchens, workshops and retail environments where clarity is needed.
