Description
The Knightsbridge 13W LED linkable striplight is an 838mm under-cabinet or cove light fitting with a built-in colour temperature switch allowing selection between 3000K warm white (1055lm), 4000K cool white (1055lm), and 6500K daylight (1025lm). The integrated LED delivers up to 13W on 230V mains with an opal diffuser softening the beam to a 140° spread across worktops or shelves.
Designed for kitchen under-cabinet installation, display shelving, wardrobes and commercial cove lighting, the striplight mounts horizontally or vertically using the included fixing clips. Multiple units can be linked together using the inline couplers provided — up to 20 fittings on a single circuit — while each striplight retains independent switching if wired that way. The built-in memory facility stores the last colour temperature and brightness setting, so the light returns to the same output after being switched off.
The white polycarbonate housing measures 838mm long by 22.8mm wide with a 36mm projection from the mounting surface. The opal diffuser hides the LED strip inside and provides even illumination without visible hotspotting. Class II double-insulated construction means no earth wire is needed, simplifying installation in existing cabinet voids. Each fitting ships with a 2m power cord, inline coupler for linking additional units, and fixing clips.

Frequently Asked
How is the colour temperature changed?
A small switch on the striplight body allows selection between 3000K, 4000K and 6500K. The fitting remembers the last setting, so it returns to the same colour temperature when switched back on.
How many units can be linked together?
Up to 20 striplights can be linked on a single circuit using the inline couplers provided. Each unit draws 13W, so 20 fittings would draw 260W total — well within the capacity of a standard UK lighting circuit.
Can the striplights be switched independently?
Yes, if wired that way. The inline couplers allow multiple units to share a single power feed, but you can wire separate switches into the circuit to control individual striplights or groups of striplights independently.
What mounting clearance is needed?
The striplight projects 36mm from the mounting surface when installed. For under-cabinet installation, allow at least 40mm clearance between the underside of the cabinet and the worktop or shelf below to avoid the fitting protruding past the cabinet edge.
