Description

The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang SP switched socket adds one USB-A and one USB-C charging port behind a brushed chrome rounded edge faceplate with a grey insert. The single-pole switching isolates the live line when the socket is switched off, with the USB ports operating independently of the switch position. The rounded edge design features a built-in gasket that sits flush against the wall for a defined border around the plate.

Designed for residential, hospitality and office installation, the socket fits a standard 25-35mm back box depth depending on wiring conditions. The faceplate is fixed with visible screws, with matching brushed chrome metal rocker switches for both gangs. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet. The dual USB ports share a 5V DC 4.0A output, allowing simultaneous charging of a phone and tablet at typical charging speeds.

The brushed chrome finish provides a cool metallic accent that pairs well with modern, industrial and contemporary interiors. A 25-35mm back box depth is needed depending on wiring conditions. Tighter cable runs or back-to-back installation may need the deeper end of that range. The 7.5mm projection from the faceplate adds to the total wall depth once fitted.
