The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang SP switched socket combines a standard 13A outlet with two USB-A charging ports (5V DC 2.4A shared output) behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a white insert. Single-pole switching isolates the live line when the socket is turned off, providing safe shutdown for most household appliances without needing to remove the plug.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the socket fits a standard 25-35mm back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate steel sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 2,990W, while the twin USB-A ports suit simultaneous charging of phones, tablets or e-readers without occupying the mains outlet.
