Single-pole switching isolates the live line when the socket is turned off, providing safe shutdown for most household appliances without needing to remove the plug.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the socket fits a standard 25-35mm back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate steel sub-frame.
