Description

The Zinta is a 600mm diameter crystal chandelier with six curved arms in antique brass, each holding an E14 candle bulb fitting and terminating in a cut crystal drip tray. Asfour crystal droplets and spheres hang from the arms and central column, refracting light from the bulbs in multiple directions. The black fabric-wrapped chain and antique brass ceiling rose support the 8kg weight and conceal the cable run.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Zinta provides ambient and decorative lighting through six bulbs totalling up to 120W. The 600-1620mm adjustable drop allows the chandelier to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or positioned higher in a double-height hallway. The antique brass finish sits between polished brass and bronze on the tonal scale, with a darker patina that pairs well with traditional oak furniture, heritage colour schemes and period properties.

The scrolled brass arms curve outward from the central column in a classical candelabra arrangement, with Asfour crystals arranged in chains along each arm and clustered below the lowest point. Asfour is an Egyptian crystal manufacturer whose faceted glass droplets provide higher refractive clarity than acrylic. The chandelier accepts any E14 bulb up to 20W per fitting (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament candle bulbs in warm white (2700K) or soft white (3000K) depending on the room's use.

The chandelier itself supports dimming when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the wall circuit. Check that both the bulbs and the dimmer are rated to work together before installing.

What bulbs are recommended?

The chandelier takes six E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs up to 20W each. Most buyers pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in 2700K warm white for a traditional glow, or flame-effect filament bulbs for a period look. Bulbs are sold separately.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop of 600-1620mm allows installation in rooms from 2.4m upward. For a dining table, the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which requires a minimum 2.7m ceiling height for comfortable headroom underneath.

How are the crystals cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal droplet individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, remove the crystals from their wire loops, wash in lukewarm soapy water, rinse, dry completely and re-hang. Avoid spraying the brass frame with water or household cleaners.
