Description

The Zinta is a 2-light crystal wall light built on a French gold-finished metal frame with curved arms that each support a crystal candle dish and hold a faceted Asfour crystal sphere on a chain. Two E14 bulbs (sold separately, each up to 60W) sit in candle-flame tubes above the candle dishes, and the light refracts through the cut crystal droplets suspended below the arms and from the central decorative hoop. An integrated pull-cord switch on the front of the fitting allows the light to be controlled at the wall without needing a separate wall switch.

Designed for living rooms, formal dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms where decorative wall lighting is needed alongside or instead of ceiling fixtures, the Zinta suits walls with existing back boxes and cable runs that would traditionally have taken a switched wall light. The 210mm projection from the wall and 320mm width mean it works on chimney breasts, alcove walls and feature walls without encroaching too far into the room. The pull-cord switch makes it practical for bedside use or in rooms where the existing wall switch is inconveniently positioned.

The French gold finish is a mid-tone warm gold with a slight satin sheen, sitting between the high polish of bright gold and the darker patina of antique brass. The Asfour crystal used in the droplets and spheres is Egyptian-made precision-cut optical crystal, giving sharper facets and more defined light refraction than moulded acrylic alternatives. The 2kg weight reflects the solid metal frame and genuine crystal content. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb type used — pair with dimmable E14 LED candles for variable light levels.

No. The Zinta takes two E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with candle-flame shaped LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K warm white for a filament-style glow that complements the crystal and gold finish.

The fitting has an integrated pull-cord switch at the front. Pull the cord once to turn the light on, pull again to turn it off. This allows the light to be controlled at the wall without needing a separate wall switch on the circuit, making it useful for bedside positions or where the room switch is inconveniently located.

Is the crystal real or acrylic?

The droplets and spheres are Asfour precision-cut optical crystal from Egypt. This is genuine leaded crystal glass with sharper facets and higher refractive index than moulded acrylic, giving more defined light sparkle and a heavier feel.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and the wall circuit is connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself does not restrict dimming, but non-dimmable LED bulbs will flicker or fail to dim properly even on a dimmer circuit.
