Zero II LED Flush Ceiling Light 24W 5000K - White

The Zero II is a 330mm flush ceiling light with an integrated 24W LED producing 1700 lumens of 5000K natural white light through an opal acrylic diffuser. The white metal body sits just 55mm from the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with lower ceilings where pendant lights or semi-flush fittings would hang too low.

Designed for utility rooms, hallways and home offices where clear functional light is needed over decorative warmth, the Zero II pairs a broad 120° beam angle with the cool daylight temperature of 5000K. This combination provides even coverage across small to medium rooms (8-12m²) without visible LED spotting or pooling. The flush mount fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box, concealing all wiring behind the backplate.

The opal acrylic diffuser sits within a white metal surround, giving a clean circular profile when viewed from below. At 0.49kg the fitting is light enough to mount on plasterboard ceilings without additional support. The non-dimmable LED is rated for 3 years and draws 24W on 220-240V mains, equivalent to a 150W incandescent in output but with significantly lower running costs and heat output.

The natural white output at 5000K is closer to midday daylight than to warm domestic lighting, which helps keep spaces feeling alert and clear rather than cosy. This makes the fitting a practical choice in rooms used for tasks rather than relaxation, and the white surround keeps it recessive against a pale ceiling. For wet zones, an IP44 or IP65 rated fitting is needed.

What room size does it cover?

With 1700 lumens and a 120° beam angle, the Zero II provides sufficient general lighting for rooms of 8-12m² (small bathrooms, utility rooms, cloakrooms, hallways). Larger rooms may need multiple fittings or a higher-lumen model.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable and will not function correctly with dimmer switches. If dimmable lighting is needed, consider a different model or a fitting that accepts dimmable LED bulbs.

How is the diffuser cleaned?

Switch off the mains supply, allow the fitting to cool, then wipe the opal acrylic diffuser with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the diffuser or using household sprays near the LED.
