Description

Small, quiet and easy to place, this is a pendant of 80mm across the body, hung on a slim suspension that can be set short over a worktop or dropped lower into a stairwell. A single G9 capsule does the work, taking up to 10W, so the light it throws is neat and directed rather than broad. That makes it useful where you want light on a surface rather than filling a whole room. Dimming is possible where the lamp and the dimmer are chosen to suit; neither is supplied with the fitting.

We use pendants this small where a wider shade would crowd the space: above a kitchen island in a run, either side of a bed in place of table lamps, over a narrow breakfast bar, or in a hallway where headroom is tight. The satin white reads as soft and unfussy against a painted ceiling, which makes it a good choice if you would rather the fitting stayed in the background. It is one we suggest to anyone furnishing a small flat or a loft room where scale matters more than presence.

The finish is an even satin white with no gloss to catch reflections, and the body is double insulated. For cleaning, switch the light off at the wall and give the body a wipe with a soft dry cloth once it is cool; polishes and sprays will dull the satin over time, so we leave them out of it. It carries a one year warranty. The same pendant is made in satin black, aged pewter, polished nickel and satin nickel, and in brass, gold and copper finishes, so a set can be mixed or matched along a run. Lamps are not included.
