Description

Kept deliberately plain, this pendant is a slim satin black body, 10cm across and 23cm tall. The drop can be set anywhere up to 1.5m, so it hangs low over a breakfast bar or higher in a hall where headroom matters. An E27 lamp of your choosing does the work, and the fitting will dim if you pair a dimmable lamp with a compatible dimmer. Nothing about it competes for attention, which is rather the point of a fitting this size.

We reach for it where pendants run in a line above an island and the fitting itself should stay quiet, and it works just as well on its own above a side table or at a bedside. Because the body is narrow, it does not crowd a small room, and the satin finish keeps reflections off the surface below. Over a dining table it gives you a low pool of light rather than a wide spread. It suits anyone happy to choose their own lamp. Wiring is for ordinary indoor household circuits, and it belongs in dry rooms: a kitchen or landing rather than a shower room.

It is double insulated throughout. The satin black is a soft, low sheen finish that shows fingerprints far less than a polished one, and when the light is off and cool a dry soft cloth is all it asks; keep abrasives and sprays well away from it. It carries a one year warranty.
