Description

The LED Fire Rated White Downlight is a recessed ceiling light with a clean white bezel and a compact 85mm diameter. The LEDs sit behind a Citizen light source and are set back within the housing to reduce glare, so the light falls softly rather than shining directly into the room. It is a neat, low profile fitting that sits flush with the ceiling, giving a tidy finish across a run of several lights.

Each fitting takes one integrated LED, so there are no separate bulbs to buy. The lamps are supplied with the downlight. Maximum wattage per lamp is 9W and the maximum fitting wattage is 8.5W, giving 673 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature. The unit is dimmable and comes with a trailing edge dimmable driver, so you can set the level to suit the room. It is rated IP65 for protection against moisture and dust, and it is BS476 fire rated for use in ceilings that need fire protection. It is Class 1 and weighs 1kg. It is suitable for interior use.

This downlight works well in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and living spaces where you want even, unobtrusive light.
