The Viena is a 53cm diameter 4 light chandelier with four curved arms extending from a central antique brass column, each arm ending in a frosted glass shade shaped like an upward-pointing flame. The shades have a clear glass rim at the top that creates a subtle highlight when the bulbs are lit. Each arm holds a G9 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Viena hangs on a telescopic suspension rod that adjusts the drop between 550mm and 730mm on installation. The 53cm diameter suits tables 1.2-1.6m long or room centres where the chandelier will sit 600-900mm above a surface. The antique brass finish has darker, oxidised tones across the frame that contrast with the warmer brass highlights on raised edges and joints.

The frosted glass diffuses the G9 bulb light into a soft glow rather than direct glare, with the clear rim at the top of each shade creating a second layer of accent light when viewed from the side. The four-arm configuration distributes light evenly across a table or room centre without the weight and visual density of a five or six light fitting. At 2.1kg the chandelier requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or rated ceiling rose.

What bulbs does the Viena take?

The chandelier uses four G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. We suggest pairing this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2.5-4W and 2700K-3000K. The fitting accepts halogen G9 bulbs, but LED provides better energy efficiency and cooler operation.

Is the Viena dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Not all LED G9 bulbs are dimmable, so check the bulb packaging before purchase.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The telescopic suspension allows the drop to be set between 550mm and 730mm during installation. Once the chandelier is wired and the canopy is fixed to the ceiling, adjusting the height again requires partial disassembly of the fitting.

What size dining table does the 53cm diameter suit?

The 53cm spread works well over tables 1.2-1.6m long. For larger tables consider pairing two Viena chandeliers or selecting a larger diameter fitting from the range.
