The Vetivene 1 Light Wall Light pairs a rounded shade of shiny opal glass with a natural brass backplate and arm. When lit, the glass takes on a soft, warm glow that spreads light gently across the wall rather than casting it in a hard beam. It is part of our Vetivene family, and its compact form keeps things neat without drawing too much attention to the fitting itself. The design can be mounted facing up or down, so you have a little freedom in how the light falls.

With an IP44 rating, this wall light is made for the bathroom, where it copes with the steam and splashes that come with the room. It works well flanking a mirror, above a basin, or as a pair either side of a vanity to balance the light evenly across your face. That said, it is equally at home in a hallway, on a landing, or beside a bed where you want a warm pool of light close by. It runs on mains voltage and is a Class I fitting.

The body is built from steel with a natural brass finish, topped by the opal glass shade. It takes a single G9 LED lamp of up to 6W, and a lamp is supplied with the fitting. Because the lamp is replaceable, the colour temperature depends on the bulb you choose, so you can adjust the warmth to suit the room over time. The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps if you want to soften the level. To care for it, wipe the brass and glass with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could mark the finish. It comes with a 2 year guarantee.
