The Verdant is a 500mm geometric pendant light built around a polyhedral brass frame with clear glass panel inserts and a single E27 bulb fitting suspended inside. The brass frame forms a 20-facet icosahedron structure, creating triangular openings across the surface. Clear glass sheets fit into selected facets, acting as protective panels while leaving other facets open to allow direct visibility of the bulb and unobstructed light distribution.

Designed for dining tables, entrance halls and living room centres where ceiling heights exceed 2.6m, the Verdant works as both decorative object and functional light source. The 620mm total drop from ceiling rose to lowest point of the frame suits installations where the pendant hangs 700-900mm above a table surface or 2m above floor level in a hallway. The glass panels can be removed by hand for bulb replacement without tools, and the frame structure provides protection against accidental contact with the bulb during use.

The brass finish on the metal frame shows tonal variation across different batches, ranging from bright polished brass through to a warmer burnished tone depending on when the unit was manufactured. The geometric frame casts patterned shadows onto surrounding walls and ceilings when lit, with the shadow intensity varying based on bulb type and wattage.
