Description

The Vela is a 54cm-diameter crystal chandelier with three scrolled polished chrome arms, each holding an E14 candle bulb fitting and dressed with concave-cut crystal droplets and beaded strands. The central column carries additional crystal pendants that cascade below the bulb holders, extending the light-catching surface area. The polished chrome finish reflects both natural and artificial light, amplifying the sparkle thrown by the cut crystal.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms where a decorative light fitting is needed without dominating the space, the Vela works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The drop adjusts between 810mm and 1760mm on installation via the chain suspension, allowing the chandelier to be positioned at the appropriate height above a table surface or within a stairwell void. The 3kg total weight sits comfortably on standard UK ceiling roses without additional support.

Each crystal element is concave-cut rather than faceted flat, which creates a deeper refraction pattern when light passes through the droplets. The crystal droplets clip onto the chrome frame and can be removed individually. Wipe each piece with a dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth if needed, then reattach. Switch the power off at the mains before handling the crystals to avoid accidental contact with live bulb fittings.
