Valentina 6 Light Chandelier - Oxidized Bronze

The Valentina is a 6-light chandelier built around an oxidized bronze birdcage frame with clear cut crystal droplets and glass bobeches at each candle position. Six E14 candelabra bulbs (sold separately, up to 60W each) sit within glass drip pans, surrounded by faceted crystal pendants that hang from the frame arms and central column. The oxidized bronze finish shows a dark, weathered patina with subtle tonal variation across the metalwork.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Valentina provides both ambient light and decorative presence. The 721mm diameter suits tables up to 1800mm long or floor areas of 12-16m². The drop is adjustable on installation from a minimum of 1022mm to a maximum of 2356mm using the 1524mm chain, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining surface or hung lower in a hall or stairwell.

The frame combines smooth bronze scrollwork with beaded detailing at the central column and canopy. Each of the six arms curves outward from the centre before turning upward to hold a candle sleeve, with crystal bobeches clipped onto the metalwork at each position to catch wax drips and reflect light from the bulbs. Additional crystal pendants hang from the lower section of the frame, creating layers of refraction when the chandelier is lit. The oxidized finish on the bronze has a low-sheen surface that absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, allowing the crystal to dominate the visual effect.

What bulbs does the Valentina take?

The chandelier takes six E14 candelabra bulbs (small Edison screw), sold separately. Maximum 60W per bulb, though most users pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K) to mimic traditional candle light without the heat output.

What drop height is needed above a dining table?

For dining tables, position the bottom of the chandelier 700-900mm above the table surface. With a fitting height of 832mm and minimum drop of 1022mm, this requires a ceiling height of approximately 2.7m or above. The 1524mm chain allows adjustment up to a maximum drop of 2356mm for higher ceilings or entrance halls.

Is the chandelier dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you choose. LED E14 candle bulbs marked as dimmable will work with most trailing-edge or universal dimmers. Non-dimmable LED bulbs may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer switch.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal pendant individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For heavier dust buildup, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the crystals or allowing water to run into the bulb sockets or metalwork. Do not use spray polishes or chemical cleaners on the cut glass.
