Valentina 12 Light Chandelier - Oxidized Bronze

The Valentina is a 926mm-diameter two-tier chandelier carrying 12 candelabra-style E14 bulb positions across upper and lower arms of oxidized bronze metalwork. Cut crystal droplets hang from the frame on every arm, with additional crystal bobeches beneath each bulb position to catch and refract light. The upper tier carries 6 lights inside a crowned cage frame with crystal swags, while the lower tier extends 6 scrolled arms outward in a classical candelabra arrangement.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Valentina requires vertical clearance — the fitting itself stands 1162mm tall before the chain. The adjustable chain allows a total drop from 1252mm to 3386mm, so the chandelier can be positioned to suit ceiling height and room proportion. In a dining room the lower tier typically sits 750-850mm above the table surface. The 926mm diameter suits tables of 1800-2400mm length and rooms of at least 4m square.

The oxidized bronze finish gives the metalwork a darkened, aged patina that contrasts with the clear polished crystals. Each crystal droplet is individually hung on the frame, creating movement and sparkle under both daylight and artificial light. The frame scrollwork references early 20th-century European chandelier design, with curved arms, decorative collars and a central finial beneath the lower tier. The Valentina takes 12 x E14 bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately) — most installations pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K for period-appropriate light without excessive heat or energy draw.

What ceiling height is needed?

The chandelier itself is 1162mm tall before adding chain length. For a dining room installation with the lower tier sitting 750-850mm above the table, you need a minimum ceiling height of 2.7m. Double-height entrance halls can use the full 3386mm drop to create a statement feature.

What bulbs does it take?

The Valentina takes 12 x E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs, each up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K to reduce heat and running costs while maintaining the period look.

How is the drop adjusted?

The chain is adjusted during installation by removing or adding links to set the final hanging height. Once installed, the drop is fixed until the chandelier is taken down and re-adjusted. The 2134mm chain allows flexibility between the 1252mm minimum and 3386mm maximum drop.

How is the crystal maintained?

Dust the crystals with a dry microfibre cloth or use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for stubborn marks. For a thorough clean, the individual crystal droplets can be unhooked from the frame, washed in warm soapy water, rinsed, dried and re-hung. Always switch off the power before cleaning.
