Description

This T-connector is a junction component for single-circuit track lighting systems, designed to join three separate track sections in a T configuration. The connector body is formed from polycarbonate with internal copper conductors, finished in satin nickel to match the Knightsbridge TRKSPxx track series. The component measures 108mm along the through-run and 181mm across the T-junction, with an 18mm depth that sits flush with standard track profiles.

Designed for retail, gallery and residential track lighting installations where tracks need to branch at right angles from a main run, the T-connector allows a single circuit to power three directions without requiring separate power feeds. The connector can also function as a central power feed point, with mains input entering through the T-branch and two output tracks running in opposite directions from the through-run.

The polycarbonate body provides electrical insulation rated to IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with the internal copper conductors maintaining continuity across all three track directions. The satin nickel finish provides a brushed metallic appearance that reduces fingerprint visibility during installation and pairs with both warm and cool-toned track installations. The connector is rated for 230V 50Hz mains and carries a Class I earth requirement, requiring the track system to be earthed through the power feed.

Frequently Asked

Which track series is this compatible with?

This T-connector is compatible with the Knightsbridge TRKSPxx single-circuit track series. It will not fit three-circuit or other manufacturer track systems without adapter components.

Can this be used as the main power feed point?

Yes. The T-connector can function as a central power feed with mains input entering through the T-branch and two output tracks running in opposite directions from the through-run, or it can join three already-powered track sections.

What's the maximum load this connector can handle?

The connector itself is rated for 230V 50Hz mains. The maximum load depends on the total circuit rating of the track system and the number of fittings attached. Consult the TRKSPxx track specification for circuit load limits.

Is the connector earthed?

Yes. This is a Class I component and requires the entire track system to be earthed through the power feed point. Do not use on unearthed circuits.
