Track T-Connector - Black

The Knightsbridge track T-connector joins three single-circuit power tracks in a T-shaped configuration, allowing track lighting runs to branch off at right angles from a central spine. The connector houses copper contact plates inside a black polycarbonate body, transferring 230V mains power through the junction without requiring separate cable runs at the join.

Designed for commercial retail, gallery, hospitality and residential track lighting installations where a linear track run needs to extend into adjacent zones or create an L-shaped or T-shaped ceiling layout. The connector can also function as a central power feed point, with mains cable entering through the centre arm and power distributed out to two perpendicular tracks. Compatible with Knightsbridge TRKSPxx series single-circuit track systems.

The 181mm width across the horizontal arms and 108mm length on the perpendicular arm give the connector enough body to house stable contact points without creating a bulky visual break in the track line. The black polycarbonate finish matches Knightsbridge black track profiles, maintaining a consistent visual run when installed. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments — this connector is not rated for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or other damp locations.

Which track systems is this compatible with?

This T-connector is designed for Knightsbridge TRKSPxx series single-circuit track systems. It will not fit three-circuit or other manufacturers' track profiles without adapter components.

Can it be used as a power feed point?

Yes. Mains cable can enter through the centre arm of the T, distributing power out to two perpendicular track runs. This eliminates the need for a separate power feed box when the T-junction sits at a convenient mains cable drop point.

What's the maximum load through the connector?

The connector itself is rated for 230V 50Hz mains. The maximum combined load depends on the current rating of the track system it's installed into — typically 16A for Knightsbridge single-circuit track, giving 3,680W across all three arms combined.

Is it suitable for outdoor or bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means this connector is rated for dry indoor environments only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, outdoor canopies, or any location where moisture is present.
