Track L Right Angle Connector - Black

The Knightsbridge TRKRA1BK is an L-shaped single-circuit connector for joining two power tracks at a 90-degree right angle. Constructed from black polycarbonate with copper conductors, the connector locks into the track channel on both arms of the L, maintaining electrical continuity around the corner while supporting the mechanical junction between the two track sections.

Designed for single-circuit track lighting installations where the track run needs to turn a corner—such as around a pillar, along adjacent walls, or to follow the perimeter of a ceiling feature—the connector eliminates the need for a straight run to meet a perpendicular section. The connector can also function as a central power feed point, with mains supply connected to the base of the L and track extending in both directions from the corner.

The 108mm length across the outer edge of the L provides clearance for the two track sections to meet cleanly without twisting or bending the aluminium track. The black polycarbonate finish matches the black track profile in the TRKSPxx series, creating a continuous appearance around the corner junction. The IP20 rating suits indoor dry locations and the Class I construction requires earthing through the track system.

Which track systems is this compatible with?

This L connector is compatible with Knightsbridge TRKSPxx series single-circuit power tracks. It will not fit three-circuit or other manufacturers' track systems—check the track profile code before ordering.

Can this be used as a power feed point?

Yes. The connector can function as a central power feed, with the mains supply connected to the base of the L-shaped junction and track extending in both directions from the corner. This is useful when the power supply position falls at a corner rather than at the end of a run.

Does the connector maintain electrical continuity around the corner?

Yes. The copper conductors inside the polycarbonate body maintain electrical continuity between the two track sections, allowing track heads to be positioned on either side of the corner and powered from a single feed point.

What's the installation process?

The connector slots into the track channel on both arms of the L. The two track sections are aligned to meet at the connector, which locks into place mechanically and electrically. No additional fixings or screws are required beyond the track mounting itself.
