Description

The Toronto is a 260mm circular LED wall light built around two overlapping black metal discs—one flush to the wall, one floating forward—with an integrated 15W LED between them that casts a warm 3000K halo onto the wall surface. The front disc projects 80mm from the wall and blocks direct view of the LED strip, so all 1200 lumens are redirected outward as a soft wash of light around the perimeter of the fitting.

Designed for hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and stairwells where ambient rather than task lighting is needed, the Toronto provides enough output to light a 3-4m hallway section or a corner of a larger room without dominating the wall. The circular form suits both portrait and landscape arrangements when multiple fittings are used to define a corridor or feature wall. The matt black finish absorbs reflections under daylight and blends into darker wall colours, while contrasting sharply against white or light grey.

The two-disc construction creates depth despite the minimal projection, with the front disc appearing to float when the LED is switched on. The black metal is powder-coated to a low-sheen matt finish that resists fingerprints and minor scuffs. At 1.1kg the fitting mounts securely to masonry, plasterboard-over-stud or timber walls using standard wall plugs, and the integrated LED removes the need for separate bulb purchases or replacements.

No. The integrated LED operates on 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The output is fixed at 1200lm.

Can it be installed on a plasterboard wall?

Yes. At 1.1kg the Toronto can be mounted on plasterboard-over-stud walls using appropriate cavity fixings or by securing to a stud. Masonry walls use standard wall plugs.

What direction does the light cast?

The LED is concealed between the two discs and casts light outward in all directions around the perimeter, creating a circular halo wash on the wall behind the fitting. No light projects forward into the room.

What size room does 1200lm suit?

1200lm provides ambient rather than task lighting. One Toronto suits a 3-4m hallway section, a stairwell landing, or a corner reading area in a larger room. For a complete room, multiple fittings or additional lighting would be needed.
