Description

The Tonic is a 720mm linear bar pendant carrying three cylindrical satin bronze glass shades suspended on individual cables from a matt black rectangular canopy. Each cylinder houses an integrated GX53 LED emitting 3000K warm white light downward through the open base of the bronze glass, creating focused pools of light directly beneath each pendant. The linear canopy spaces the three pendants evenly across 720mm, giving a balanced lighting pattern along a dining table, kitchen island or bar counter.

Designed for installation above surfaces 800-1200mm wide, the Tonic provides task and ambient light for dining tables, kitchen islands and reception desks where directed downlight is needed without scattering light across the entire room. The drop is adjustable from 480mm to 2000mm, allowing the pendants to be set 600-800mm above a worktop or dining surface depending on ceiling height. The matt black canopy measures 720 x 100mm and fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The satin bronze finish on the cylindrical glass shades diffuses the warm LED light while adding a metallic accent that works with both contemporary and warm-toned traditional interiors. The matt black canopy and cables contrast against the bronze, giving definition to the linear structure. The dimmable GX53 LEDs allow light levels to be adjusted for different times of day, requiring a compatible mains dimmer on the lighting circuit. At 3.1kg total weight, the pendant requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or solid ceiling structure.

The drop is set during installation by adjusting the cable length within the canopy. Once installed, changing the drop height requires access to the canopy to re-adjust the cables.

Yes. GX53 is a twist-and-lock bulb base commonly used in low-profile LED fittings. Replacement GX53 LEDs are available separately if required in future.
